Shall we now have grace for each other -
please, shall we? Our grit and gall would have us be ungenerous, but the king proclaims thou mayest. Thou mayest be kind and forgiving. Thou mayest be bold and meek. Thou mayest be humble and speak with soft courage and certitude, for the good king will not surrender us, the good king is fierce and all of just, and in his mercy, death, and resurrection won for us a free heart for thou mayest. So please, let us be like him. Please, let us be generous with our grace and active in our empathy, relying on the strength so much more than our own. For we are made to be like him, love, and oh what a wondrous joy that is to live in the hope of thou mayest. Comments are closed.
